Behavior Policy

For positive behavior:

The school will be using a "paw print system" to reward positive behavior. Students will be able to turn in their paw prints for different rewards at the end of the week.

Each individual class may have another positive incentives systems, on top of paw prints. Please ask your child's teacher for specifics.

Positive verbal reinforcement will be a priority.

For negative behavior:

If a student breaks a school or classroom rule, they will be given a verbal warning and, if time permits/as necessary, will be spoken to privately by the teacher.

If the behavior continues, the parents will be contacted.

As a last resort, or if it is a major offense, the student will be sent to the office to either have a meeting with the Principal or Assistant Principal, or with a referral from the teacher.
