Is Green Cord a Club? No! Green Cord is a Volunteer Service Program. We look over your volunteer hours and award you for hour requirements you may meet.
Does Green Cord Have Meetings? No, Green Cord does not have meetings. We send out occasional updates on remind, but do not have meetings!
Will we be volunteering? Yes, to receive the Green Cord Award you must volunteer. But, Green Cord is not responsible for organizing volunteer events. We do have a list of opportunities you can refer to if you're looking for places to volunteer, but volunteering is your responsibility.
How do I pay dues? Dues are $25. You only need to pay the due once, when you join Greencord.
How do I join Green Cord? To reiterate, Green Cord is an Award program, not a club. However, to earn the Green Cord Service Award, students should fill out the interest form on our website, and fill out hour submission forms so that we can verify their eligibility.
What are the hour requirements?
Freshmen - 50 hours
Sophomores - 60 hours
Juniors - 75 hours
Seniors - 100 hours

How do I receive graduation cords? To receive graduation cords, you must submit 100 hours completed during senior year.
When will my hours be updated? We try to update your hours/send clarifying emails at the end of every week (on Sunday).
