Choir Notes - Sept 24

Hello choir families!

Here are your reminders and updates:

Football game tonight!

This game is required for Musicale and Rhapsody.  All varsity choirs (1st, 3rd, and 6th periods) are invited and encouraged to sing.  The required uniform is the 2025-26 choir t-shirt, blue jeans, and your student ID.  Meet at Kelly Reeves stadium at 6:20pm.  Do not be late.  We will meet on the home side, outside the stadium on the sidewalk to line up, rehearse, and walk in.  Non-performers will be required to purchase a ticket and proceed into the stadium from the normal entries.  Remember, the stadium has a clear bag policy.  Absolutely no backpacks allowed!!

FALL CONCERT - Wednesday, October 7

We are only 4 rehearsals away from our first concert of the year!  This is a required MAJOR grade for all choir students.  Here are the details for this event:

• Uniform - Blue jeans, close-toed shoes, and the 2026-27 choir t-shirt

• Student call time - 6:15pm at the Hartfield PAC in the Blackbox

• Concert start time - 7:00pm

• All parents, friends, and families are invited and encouraged to attend this performance.

Choir Supply and Uniform Fees - Due by October 3

It is time for us to collect the yearly choir fees!  This fee covers the cost of the choir t-shirt, class supplies for each student, the hemming and cleaning of the formal uniforms, and a bit of new music for each class. The fees are tiered for each level of choir, as there are different music and performance requirements for the varsity ensembles.

• 2nd, 5th, and 7th period fee is $50

• 1st and 6th period fee is $75

• 3rd period fee is $100

Tri-M - A Music Honor Society - A note from the sponsor, Mr. Anderson:

Get a head start on your TMEA music, develop your individual confidence, or work towards your own personal goal in private lessons with our amazing voice staff!!  Space is limited and will fill up quickly.
