Choir Notes - 4/19
Hello Choir Families!
We are only a few rehearsals away from the last concert of the year! It is coming fast. Please make sure you are using the practice tracks to help you memorize your music. Everyone is required to be off music completely by Monday!! Here are your reminders:
SENIOR INFORMATION DUE TODAY!!!!
It is time to gather information for the end of the year events AND to complete your application for a Choir Scholarship!! Don't procrastinate! Both forms are due by April 19 (TODAY). Every senior MUST complete the end of year info form and upload 3 pictures (baby, elementary/middle school and senior).

FINE ARTS COLLEGE SIGNING DAY - FRIDAY, April 19 (TONIGHT) - 6:30pm in the Orchestra Room
New this year is a Fine Arts signing day for all our amazing seniors who will be continuing their Fine Arts studies in college. This will include students majoring in Music (choir, band, orchestra, composition, jazz, music production, etc.), Theatre, Art, and Dance.
Follies Auditions for Defying Gravity, Opening Up & Ease On Down The Road
Auditions for the solos on these three pieces will be on Tuesday, April 23 immediately after school. There will not be any other times available for these auditions. Students who are interested must be PERFORMANCE READY (i.e. memorized, confident, and musical).
Choir Leadership Applications Now Open for the 2024-2025 School Year!

Follies Information
Don't forget to pre-purchase your Candy-gram for your favorite performers!
Costume requirements are designed for students to to be able to raid closets for items that work. No one is required to buy anything.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal - Friday, May 3
Dinner will be provided in the MHS cafeteria immediately after school
Rehearsal in the PAC 5:00-10:00pm
This is a full dress rehearsal - students must bring ALL costumes.
Performances - Saturday, May 4
Matinee Performance
Student call time - 12:20pm dressed for first song
Doors open for audience - 12:30pm
Show begins - 1:00pm
Dinner Break 3:00-6:20pm
Students have plenty of time to leave for a break and food.
Senior Circle in the Choir Room at MHS 5:00pm
all students are invited to attend this important tradition
Evening Performance
Student call time - 6:30 pm in the Green Room
Doors open for audience - 6:30pm
Show begins - 7:00pm
Banquet Tickets are Now On SALE!!!
All choir students and their families are invited to join us for the end of year Choir Banquet on Thursday, May 16 in the MHS cafeteria. This is a catered event featuring awards, dancing, fun, and laughter. This year's banquet is also a Mystery party! Come prepared to solve clues and figure out who the mystery culprit is. Each participant will be required to purchase a ticket IN ADVANCE. THE DEADLINE TO PURCHASE TICKETS IS MONDAY, MAY 6!!! DO NOT MISS THIS DEADLINE!! CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS NOW!

May 2 - Letter Jacket fittings for qualified students
May 3 - Follies Dress Rehearsal 4:30-10:00PM (Required for all students)
May 4 - Follies Performances 1pm & 7pm (Required for all students)
May 9 - Musicale & Rhapsody perform for Elsa England
May 10 - Leadership Team Results Posted
May 16 - Choir Banquet
May 18 - Chipotle Night
May 20 - Musicale performs for Senior Awards
May 22 - Chambers (current and 2024-25 members) & Seniors perform at Graduation
