Roleplay

Roleplay events are best for quick thinkers who are comfortable presenting on the spot. There are three main categories of these events: Principles, Individual Series, and Team Decision Making (TDM).

• Principles events are done individually and are ONLY for first year competitors. It includes a 90 minute-100 question multiple choice test as well as 1 roleplay.

• Individual Series events are also done individually and is meant for competitors who have more experience or would like to do a more specialized topic. It includes 90 minute-100 question multiple choice test as well as 2 roleplays.

• Team Decision Making are done as duos and is perfect for those who work better with together. It includes both partners taking a 90 minute-100 question multiple choice test as well as completing 1 roleplay together.

Although these events do require you to do the bulk of the work while competing, it is still extremely important to prepare in order to succeed:

• Take many practice tests

• Do practice roleplays

• Be comfortable with and understand your event cluster performance indicators
