Proficiency Level Chart

  • Proficiency levels are ideal student targets. Some learners may advance at a different pace.

  • To be considered proficient at any given level, learners must be able to show evidence of the criteria (vocabulary, structure, comprehensibility, comprehension) in two ways:

1) Consistently (can do it again and again with no effort)

2) Spontaneously (can do it without notes or preparation)
