Making Music
with
Mrs. Pyles
Let's get back to some great music making! We will have so much fun moving, singing, and playing instruments together this year. I can't wait to share all of the fun of in person music making with everyone.
Kindergarten's Part
Can I go where the wild things are,
And feel the wind in the willows?
A wrinkle in time can lead to a rhyme down where the sidewalk ends.
The little house in the great big woods
Conceals a secret garden.
The giving tree, it grows there for me, for you and all our friends.
First Grade's Part
Charlotte spins a web for me, encircling Stella Luna
The snowy day, it leads me away, and I’m lost in Wonderland
With Alice and the little prince once captured me, and told me Aesop’s fables
And Alexander, they say, had a very bad day; and now I understand.
Second Grade's Part
Will you come set sail with me and discover treasure island?
Stuart Little will soon say “goodnight” to the moon,
And that’s where I shall begin.
Third Grade's Part
A lion found in Narnia will call out to me
And soon I will be drifting like old Tom Sawyer will be
Such a good friend to me and to Huckleberry Finn
4th and 5th Grade Melody parts
Can I go where the wild things are,
And feel the wind in the willows?
A wrinkle in time can lead to a rhyme down where the sidewalk ends.
The little house in the great big woods
Conceals a secret garden.
The giving tree, it grows there for me, for you and all our friends.
These are the stories of my life
That live from age to age
Come with me---- and turn the page
Charlotte spins a web for me, encircling Stella Luna
The snowy day, it leads me away, and I’m lost in Wonderland
With Alice and the little prince once captured me, and told me Aesop’s fables
And Alexander, they say, had a very bad day; and now I understand.
These are the stories of my life
That live from age to age
Come with me---- and turn the page
So many stories, so many tales
So many places to go
Will you share them all with me? Only then will we both know,
will we both know, Oh
Will you come set sail with me and discover treasure island?
Stuart Little will soon say “goodnight” to the moon,
And that’s where I shall begin.
A lion found in Narnia will call out to me
And soon I will be drifting like old Tom Sawyer will be
Such a good friend to me and to Huckleberry Finn
These are the stories of my life
That live from age to age
Come with me---- and turn the page
And turn the page
And turn the page
Turn the page
This is the entire song with both parts if you'd like to hear it.
