Greetings!

My name is Kristi Kennedy.

Welcome to Government! I am so excited to be a part of the RRHS Dragon Staff. I am entering my fifth year on campus as a U.S. Government teacher. I graduated from Westwood High School in 2004. After college graduation, I spent some time in Chicago while my husband earned his law degree. We returned to Austin in 2013. Prior to RRISD, I was a World Geography & AP Human Geography teacher in Pflugerville ISD.

I have been married to Matthew for almost 10 years and we have two boys. Charles (Charlie) is almost 6 years old and Declan is 1.5 years old. We also have one fur-baby, a cat named Outdoor Kitty. Charlie is involved in team sports so spend a lot of time during the week watching him play hockey and baseball!

Family is a huge priority for me and I love spending time with them whether it's playing in the backyard, quietly working on puzzles, or watching Sing 2 for the 400th time.
