About Me!

Hi!  My name is Lori Davis!

I graduated from Texas A&M in 2002!  I taught 1st and 2nd grade for many years and just last year I started teaching TAG kids, which is such a passion of mine.  This will be my 21st year of teaching! (man I'm getting old).  I grew up as a gifted child and have one (possibly 2) of my own, so I know about worrying, perfectionism, and anxiety! Having lived through it I have a lot of tools to share with students.   I'm so excited to continue being part of our TAG community.  I look forward to learning and working with parents as well!

I have a 6 year old named Paisley and a 14 year old named Madisyn.  My husband Paul and I have been married for 17 years.  We are major animal lovers and both went to A&M to be veterinarians, but plans changed, and for the better!  We have fostered many animals and love to pet sit for Rover (my second job).  At the moment we have 2 dogs,  2 lizards, 2 ferrets, 2 cats, and 3 fish tanks with many fish.  We went a little crazy during the start of the pandemic!

This year will be great and I can't wait to teach and help your kiddos grow, and them help me grow!

You can contact me several ways.  The best way to get a quick response from me is Email.  I check it a few times a day.
