Mrs. Davis
I graduated from Texas A&M in 2002! I taught 1st and 2nd grade for many years and I started teaching TAG kids at the start of the 2020 school year. This will be my 23rd year of teaching! (man I'm getting old). I grew up as a gifted child and have one (possibly 2) of my own, so I know about worrying, perfectionism, and anxiety! Having lived through it I have a lot of tools to share with students. I'm so excited to continue being part of our TAG community. I look forward to learning and working with parents as well!
I have a 7 year old named Paisley and a 15 year old named Madisyn. My husband Paul and I have been married for 18 years. We are major animal lovers and both went to A&M to be veterinarians, but plans changed, and for the better! We have fostered many animals and love to pet sit for Rover (my second job). At the moment we have 2 dogs, 2 lizards, 1 ferret, 2 cats, 2 chickens, and 3 fish tanks with many fish. We went a little crazy in 2020!
I am the TAG Math teacher, so I will not see ALL TAG kids this year, just the math kiddos.
This year will be great and I can't wait to teach and help your kiddos grow, and them help me grow!
We have a part time TAG teacher this year. Her name is Ms. Wright and she will be doing all of the enrichment and TAG projects. She has a bachelor's degree in International Business and a background in Talent and Development as well as Character building from her Martial Arts background and is very excited to be working with our awesome kiddos!
