1. Go to the Herrington library website and click on "Library Catalog."

2. Type a word into the search bar to find the title you'd like. 

• Remember to not be too specific. If you type a word like "dogman" nothing will come up because you forgot the space, so try searching just "dog."

3. In order to place a hold there must be "No copies available." 

• If it says it is available it will not let you place a hold. 

• Make sure the format is a book (not eBook)

4. Click on the "Place Hold" button.

5. Your login is your student number with no "s." If your ID number is s123456 you will enter 123456 for both the username AND password.

6. Click on "Place Hold."

7. Click on "OK."

8. IF you are on a library computer you will scroll to the top and click on "Log Out." 

• If you are on your own computer or Chromebook there is no need to log out.
