Mrs. Strong grew up in Mesa, AZ. She graduated from ASU with a BS in Speech & Hearing Science and was a stay at home mom for many years to 5 awesome kids (3 in college, 1 serving a church mission in Chile for 2 years, and 1 in high school). She loves practicing tricks with her dog Missy. Mrs. Strong started volunteering in her kids’ school library & became the library assistant here at Herrington in 2019, while working on her teacher certification. She taught 1st grade for 2 years in Pflugerville and then received her Masters in Library Science & School Library Certification. She is so excited to be starting her 2nd full year as the librarian at Herrington and helping students foster a love of reading!

Mrs. Adams is from Denton, TX. She has a BA in English, a Master of Liberal Studies, and a Master of Library Science (with a focus on public libraries). She and her husband have one daughter, Anna, and two cats, Cori and Lucy. Mrs. Adams started volunteering at a school library, worked two years as a part time librarian at an elementary school in AISD, worked as a library assistant at Wells Branch Community Library, and is now starting her second year as the assistant librarian at Herrington. She love libraries!
