Welcome!

Hi! I'm Ms. Duncan. I am one of our two FAC teachers here at Hernandez. I am originally from Houston, TX. I graduated from Baylor University with my bachelor's in special education, and I recently completed my master's in special education and transition planning at Sam Houston State. This is my third year at Hernandez in FAC. I have two cats, Sterling and Matilda, who are 5 years old. I love reading, knitting, cooking and podcasts. I am so excited for an amazing year with our students!

Hello Bulldog Heroes, my name is Ms. P. I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve you and your families at Hernandez Middle School in the Functional Academic Classroom for the third school year. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. I love, love, love going on adventures and hope you can join me too, as we explore our community together. I am a mother to four fabulous daughters. I enjoy drinking coffee, shopping at Target, and taking long drives to visit my family back home in San Antonio.
