FAC Info

The Functional Academics Classroom (FAC) is a program for students who need intensive functional instruction in specific areas such as core academics, daily living, self-help/vocational skills and socialization. FAC emphasizes the development of students’ skills in all areas in order to promote student independence and a post-secondary transition towards productive adulthood. FAC has a low staff-to-student ratio to support our students' progress toward their goals.

• 2 2-inch binders 

• 2 pencil boxes

• 1 pack of pencils

• 1 package of dividers with pockets

• 2 packages of Expo markers

• 1 ream of printer paper

• Ziploc bags (boys: gallon size, girls: sandwich size)

• 1 set of earbuds or headphones 

• 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste

• Hairbrush or comb (optional: hair ties, gel, etc.)

• Deodorant

• Change of clothing (please include at least 2 pairs of underwear)

• Feminine hygiene products (if needed)

• 1 package of baby wipes
