WELCOME 2020 BULLDOGS to 7th Grade Science!

I have been teaching middle school science for 16 years and I have a B.S. in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio. So you’re in good hands because Science 7 is exclusively about Biology, Living Things!, Life Science! I have taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade, but I prefer seventh grade the most. I have taught 7th grade for 12 years and this is my 7th year at Hernandez Middle School!

I have three children. My daughter Katya is 17 and is an Senior at Stony Point High School right next door to Hernandez. My identical twin boys Nikolas and Alexander are 13 and are in 7th grade at Hernandez this year! I've been married for 25 years to my husband Stefan!!!

I love to garden and be outside! I like to go hiking and ride bikes and kayak! I also like to cook and I LOVE to read! I can even crochet! Right now I am reading about how to raise chickens and the book Alexander Hamilton -the one that inspired L. Miranda to write his famous Broadway Play-Alexander Hamilton!
