Mrs. Kim

Hi!  My name is Christine Kim, and I am your child's math and science teacher.  I am so excited to be in my 9th year teaching 5th grade at Sommer! I know it will be a great year with lots of learning and fun! 

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and had lived there my whole life before moving to Austin! My husband and I met in MA and in 2013 we got married and moved here! And while I now call Austin my home, I love going back to visit my family and friends on the East Coast and especially miss having 4 distinct seasons (especially Fall). :)

We have 2 “fur babies” and 3 children! Miles (Shiba Inu) and Korra (Mini Australian Shepard) are our dogs. We have 2 sons, Isaiah (6 years old) and Ezekiel (2 years old), and our daughter, Eleanor (9 months).

In my free time, I enjoy baking, board games, watching TV/movies, exploring Austin cafes and bakeries, and traveling.
