Personal Code of Ethics

I will always try to find good in people.

I will always give someone another chance because I may not know the situation at the time.

I will always trust in people until they give me a reason not to.

I will not need people in my life who do not need me in theirs.

I will not forget to say “I’m Sorry” to those that I have harmed, say “Thank You” to those I appreciate, and “I Love You” to those whom I value and cherish.

I will value the words of those who truly know me because they are the ones who will make unconditional, truthful, and honest judgments.

I will not mind what people say about me who don’t know me so long as I enjoy what I’m doing and will not hurt those around me.

I will try not to hold any grudges against those who have done me harm.

I will not do something just because everyone else is doing it or because someone else told me to do it.

I will not live my life through someone else’s expectations, but rather tell them who I am and not the other way around.

I believe in karma. You get what you give, times three.

I choose … to live by choice, not by chance; to make changes, not excuses; to be motivated, not manipulated; to be useful, not used; to excel, not compete. I choose self-esteem, not self pity. I choose to listen to my inner voice, not the random opinion of others.
