Meet the Teachers

Mr. Martir

Welcome to first grade Eagles!  I’m Mr. Martir and will be your child’s first grade teacher. I can‘t wait to get this school year started.  This is my 12th year at Forest North Elementary and my 23rd year teaching.   I attended The University of Texas at Austin.  I've taught 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. I started teaching in Forest North in 2012.   I was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 1985.  My family and I call Round Rock and Forest North home. My wife and I have two children Gabriel (16) and Elizabeth (13). We also have 2 dogs Luna and Harlee.  You can usually find us at a baseball or softball field.  We love to be outdoors.   I really like to go camping and fishing.  I am truly excited to grow and learn alongside your child.

Mrs. Talley

Welcome to first grade! I’m Mrs. Talley and I will be your child’s first grade teacher. I am so excited for the new school year. This is my twentieth year teaching at Forest North. I have taught second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and first grade. I graduated from Texas State University and immediately accepted a position at Forest North Elementary and have enjoyed working here the last nineteen years. My husband and I live in Taylor with our two boys, Tayden (13) and Rylen (8).  Rylen will be in third grade and Tayden will be in 8th grade. Together they keep us busy with sports, reading their favorite books, and any outdoor activities. I love spending time with my family and friends, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, scrapbooking, and running. Thank you for sharing your child with me and I look forward to a wonderful year in first grade.

Ms. Craymer

Hello Eagles! Are you ready to have a fantastic year? My name is Lily Craymer, I was born in Austin, Texas (go Austin FC)! I graduated from Texas State in 2022 with a degree in Bilingual Education. I have experience as a bilingual 1st grade teacher and bilingual art teacher. One of my proudest accomplishments was writing and illustrating a children’s book, Luna y Yo which is published in the Library of Congress. I have two dogs who I treat like my babies, Luna and Ruby. I love dogs, soccer (go Messi!), Taylor Swift, trying new foods, art, and playing guitar. I am so excited to start my first year of teaching first grade and am looking forward to learning as much as I can!
