Ms. Builta

I’m Ms. Builta, and I’m excited to be your child’s fifth-grade teacher this year. I can’t wait to get to know both your student and your family! I began my teaching journey in middle school, but recently made the rewarding decision to transition to elementary education—an experience that has truly been the best choice I’ve ever made. I feel grateful to be part of this community and to support your student throughout the year. 

I graduated from McMurry University with a degree in Math Education. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing golf, attending concerts and sporting events, and working on puzzles at home—they help me relax and recharge. I’m also passionate about lifelong learning and love exploring new books and hobbies. When I’m not busy teaching, you’ll often find me spending time with my sister and my cuddlebug of a cat, Beanbag, or catching up with friends over coffee or a fun outing. I believe in balancing hard work with moments of joy and connection.
