Late Work

Due to the fast pace of this class, attendance is crucial. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get make up work and turn it in on time. You will be allotted 2 class days for every day that you are absent. Students may turn in any work during the assigned unit for full credit. If they achieve mastery on the exam, (75 or higher), they do not need to do the other work and a 75 will be placed in its place. Late work will be accepted once the marking period ends however the highest grade they may receive is a 75.

Re-testing:

If a student earns any grade lower than a 70 on a test or quiz, they are expected to complete mandatory corrections and then take a mandatory retake. These corrections and retakes will be completed by the student during morning tutorials (Tuesday & Thursday, 8:20-8:50, by appointment) or flex time. Assessments can be retaken for a maximum of 75%. Quizzes must be done within 2 blocks. Tests must be done within 2 week. Failure to do retakes is a main reason for setback in grades.
