Diane Sikkenga

Currently serving as a Youth Services Librarian with Pflugerville Public Library, Diane has extensive experience working with kids, books, and comics as a teacher and school librarian.  One of the founding members of the Little Mavericks Graphic Novel Reading List Committee, she is loving being back as its current chair.

Nayeli Gonzalez

Nayeli Gonzalez has been a bilingual elementary librarian for five years in Round Rock ISD. Before that she taught Dual Language in the elementary setting for eight years. She is currently serving her third year as a member of the Little Mavericks Graphic Novel Committee. Providing a safe and equitable environment in the library for all patrons is one of her passions. Growing up as a bilingual student herself, she hopes to build strong relationships with students and parents, to give them a sense of belonging in the library. In her free time she is out on the pickleball courts competing with her husband, doing her own nails at home, reading, and spending quality time with her daughters.
