Gaming Hall

This year's Gaming Hall will be held in the DragonLibrary.  Activities include tabletop gaming with the Royal Dragoon Guard and retro video gaming with MadHatter McGinnis.

Grades: K-12

TIME: 10:00 AM - 1:50 PM

ROOM: Library

The Royal Dragoon Guards proudly present tabletop roleplaying games for all. No experience necessary. Sit down and enjoy the greatest hobby to grace your kitchen table. Participants will be given dice and a set of rules to take home with them! Parents and students alike are welcome.

MadHatter started the Retro Game Champion project to preserve the classic gaming experience as much as he can through stories, images, archived files, and live streaming to ensure that retro videogame titles live on for future generations to enjoy. These games are a major part of our lives and our very history, and he refuses to just let them disappear!

At conventions, Hatter and his motley crew of friends (who may or may not be in cosplay of various quality) love to set up old game systems for everyone of all ages to experience, and there are usually tables full of related crafts and artwork. If you donate to the project, you may even be able to win yourself a nifty relic of the '80s or '90s... if you can beat MadHatter at this favorite fighting games.

Aside from all of this videogaming stuff, he's also a tabletop gaming fanatic and a decorated aficionado of comic books, retro toys, vintage memorabilia, cheeseburgers, pinball machines, and K-Pop.
