Itinerary
7:30 AM - Arrive at CTMS - 1st Chaperone Check in
8:00 AM - Depart CTMS for Schlitterbahn
9:30 AM - Arrive at Schlitterbahn - Check in with Chaperone, Get entry ticket
10:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Have fun at Schlitterbahn
4:30 PM - Check in with Chaperones and head to the bus
5:00 PM - Depart Schlitterbahn for Home
6:45 PM - Arrive at CTMS
Important Reminders:
Students must ride on buses to and from the park.
No one walks in the park alone. Students must have one buddy at all times.
Bring money for extra food and drinks if necessary. Schlitterbahn is cashless. If you need to bring extra money, bring a Prepaid Visa Gift Card. Make sure to activate it before the trip.
You may bring phones or game units, but do not leave them on the bus. Rent a locker with your buddies. A credit card or prepaid card is required for lockers.
Money - Cash is not accepted anywhere in the park. If you want to bring extra money, you will need to bring a Prepaid Visa/Mastercard Gift Card. There is a kiosk to exchange cash for a gift card, but the line backs up. Plan ahead and bring a Prepaid Gift Card. There are occasionally issues with certain brands of prepaid cards. Verify the card works before bringing it on the trip.
Chaperone Groups - Students will be assigned a chaperone group for check-in purposes.
Park is Self-Contained - The entire park is self-contained, even the shuttles that go between the old and new sections. Do not leave the park; you will not be allowed back in.
Final Check In - The final check-in before heading home will happen at the Gates of the Original park. Be at this check-in on time, if not early. Visit the restroom, get dry, and get everything you need before you check in. You will leave the park to check in.
You may bring a small cooler. However, we will not watch them for you.
Stay Hydrated in the Park!
Bring sunblock, a towel, and some kind of water shoes or flip-flops.
Parent Chaperones: If you would like to be a chaperone, we will send out a Sign Up Genius once we have an exact number of students attending. Cost $60 per chaperone. You must be an RRISD Volunteer to attend the trip.

Student Safety: Students will be supervised at all times by the CTMS Band, Orchestra, Choir, Dance Directors, parent chaperones, and Schlitterbahn Staff. We will be located in clear places throughout the park.
Student Responsibility: All students are expected to behave responsibly. Students not doing so will be told to contact a parent for immediate pick-up from Schlitterbahn. A student whose behavior results in immediate removal from Schlitterbahn will not be allowed to participate in any future fine arts field trips.
***Certain requirements must be met for students to participate in the trip:***
Students must have consistently attended rehearsals and performances.
Students must have consistently been prepared for class.
Students must have displayed proper behavior in class.
Students must not have been in ISS since Spring Break.
Student Pickup: Parents must come to CTMS. Students must be picked up on time, or they may not be invited to future events.
