Band: Maddie Virgne, 12th
Maddie has been an excellent student all four years she has been in the program. She has gone above and beyond by leading sectionals and being a great example for her peers. She performs with strength and is consistently one of our top musicians in the ensemble.
Art: Mikaela Gomez, 12th
This student has shown immense skill in Art 1 and pays close attention to details. She is eager to get started on an assignment and exceeds all expectations.
Theatre: Nicholas Neumann, 12th
Nicholas Neumann is an extremely outgoing, dedicated, and positive member of the Cedar Ridge theatre department. Nick shows up everyday with a smile on his face as if he’s about to wall into Disneyland! Nick’s positivity and energy can be heard everyday through the loudspeakers as one of the hosts of our daily announcements. Nick is reliable and an excellent communicator and can be often heard tickling the ivories as he helps lead fellow Musical students through warm-ups or helping find the right key for their songs.Over the past four years, Nick has been involved with numerous shows for Theatre at the Ridge including Footloose, Chicago, Rumpelstiltskin, Mary Poppins, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Just for Laughs as well as being a founding member of our Raider Rhythm ensemble. He is well respected by his peers and directors for his incredible work ethic, his ability to collaborate with others, and his leadership skills which assist fellow students to maintain a positive mindset. Nick has managed his heavy involvement with the Theatre Department as well as an impressive academic workload. Nick is a unique and valuable Cedar Ridge theatre student and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for Nick's senior year.
Theatre: Makenna Erxelben, 12th
Makenna Erxelben is an extremely dedicated and passionate member of the Cedar Ridge theatre department. Makenna has been heavily involved with Theatre at the Ridge since being a freshman student and joining us for Zombie. Makenna is thoughtful and thorough, thinking through all necessary steps to completing a project or task while maintaining an excellent attitude and having a great sense of humor. Makenna has already taken on some monumental roles this year serving as the head Stage Manager for our Catch Me If You Can-The Musical-the largest and most complex show in our season. Over the past four years, Makenna has been involved with numerous Zombie experiences at Cedar Ridge, as well Mary Poppins, Rumpelstiltskin, Chicago, and was lead Stage Manager for The Merry Wives of Windsor last year. Makenna is well respected by her peers and directors for her thoroughness and attention to detail, her willingness to try new projects and skills, and her ability to take on massive responsibilities with aplomb. Makenna has managed all of her theatre responsibilities with her other extra curricular activities including being Editor-In-Chief of the yearbook this year! Makenna looks out for her cast and crew and encourages our actors and technicians to always remain positive. Makenna is an accomplished and treasured Cedar Ridge theatre student.
Colorguard: Isabella Keim 12th
This student has grown into an incredible leader of the Colorguard program within her 4 years with us. She is one of our Captains this year and works diligently on keeping her team healthy on and off the field. She comes to class and rehearsals with a positive attitude and has the ability to take care of her own responsibilities, while also checking in with the other members. We're lucky to have her in our family!
Calling all types of artists, musicians, and dancers! It's that time to participate in Reflections 2022! The theme this year is "Show your Voice!" Attached are the forms needed to participate. Please note - the student or at least ONE person from their PRIMARY HOUSEHOLD must be a current member of the Local PTA/PTSA where the student is participating. Please take the time to read both attached documents carefully.
