Greetings Longhorn Family! My name is Bailey Moss and I am ecstatic to begin my career as a music educator at Cactus Ranch this year! I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated with a Music Studies degree from Texas State University where I also studied Trumpet under Dr. Robert Cannon. Upon graduation, I was a recipient of the Collegiate Music Educators Award and graduated with Honors distinction. During my time at Texas State University, I served as a Trumpet Section Leader for the Bobcat Marching Band, as well as President and Treasurer of National Honorary Band Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi.
Previously, I have been a Marching Technician at New Braunfels High School, San Marcos High School, Lockhart High School, and taught freelance trumpet lessons. Aside from my duties at Cactus Ranch and Herrington Elementary School, I am a member of Cedar Park Winds and a Marching Technician at Leander High School.
In my free time I enjoy reading, building legos, paddleboarding, trying coffee shops, attending local performances, and spending time with my boyfriend and our two cats Gigi, and Kyo.
Fun Facts: I have 4 brothers. I actually do not drink coffee, but love teas like Matcha and Chai! I love Studio Ghibli movies.
I am thrilled to be at Cactus Ranch Elementary and cannot wait to Make Magic all year long!
