The Houses serve as the foundation for the educational experience at Cactus Ranch Elementary. All students are sorted into 6 houses. Each House accommodates about 150 students with its own color, motto, animal, and song/chant.
With its central goal of forging a link between learning and life-long skills, the House system cultivates an assortment of intellectual activities and traditions. In addition to four House Days throughout the year, each House hosts monthly buddy days which are informal opportunities for students in different grades to be paired with a student in their house from another grade where they can exchange ideas and learn or fine-tune particular skills. In addition, Houses also provide our teams for our Field Day.

The Black house's name is the Latin word for "respect".
Amicus
The yellow house's name is the Latin word for "friendship".
Fidelis
The purple house's name is the Latin word for "loyalty".
Integritas
The Blue house's name is the Latin word for "integrity".
Conatus
The Green house's name is the Latin word for "effort".
