Q & U Wedding

We wrapped up our fun Friday with the Q and U wedding to help us remember that they are together forever to form the digraph /kw/.


Like all good weddings, we had a reception outside with cake and juice!

Happy Lunar New Year! We started off with the parade, read a couple Lunar New Year books, got Hongbaos, and tried Korean sweet cakes to celebrate!

This week we continued learning about rocks, soil and water. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and had a soil investigation!

We enjoyed learning how to code with Mrs. Connair! If you'd like to code with your kiddo, make sure y'all to come to STEAM night! Kindergarten will be hosting the coding mice.

We had fun playing Don't Break the Bank to help us with identifying coins!

All aboard the Polar Express! The Koalas had a blast coming to school in their pajamas and drinking hot chocolate with LOTS of marshmallows! We even received as special, chilly delivery from the North Pole!

CCE Holiday Sing-Along! The Kindergarteners did a great job!

Winter Party! Thank you to all the parents who were able to come, volunteer and to those who worked behind the scenes! It was the perfect way to end a wonderful semester.

In science we have been learning about forms of energy! We had fun learning about light with shadow puppets!

The koalas did an amazing job designing, constructing and parading their balloon creations! Thank you to all of the parents who came to the 1st annual Kindergarten Thanksgiving Balloon Parade and cheered us on!

This week we learned about the past, present and future! We discussed how we can drive down to HEB to get butter for a yummy treat, however; long ago it wasn't quite so easy! We churned our own butter by shaking cream and salt in a jar! The koalas were excited to sample it after all their hard work!

We had a blast at Sweet Eats Farm for our first kinder field trip! A BIG thank you to all of our volunteers who helped out!

SPOOKY STORIES in the library this week!

On Friday we cheered on 2nd grade during their pumpkin parade! We loved seeing all of the pumpkin characters!

Storybook Parade was SO much fun! Our new kinder friends loved parading around our hallways and sharing their favorite books with their classmates!
