M, 5/18- dress like a farmer
T, 5/19- 2nd grade PJ day or wear orange for Westwood senior walk
W, 5/20- dress your best for success
TH, 5/21- wear your favorite summer gear (no bathing suits)
SEL: Our lifeskill this week is friendship- to make or keep a friend through caring and mutual respect. We'll read several books this week to celebrate all the friendships we've made this year!

Word Work: This week we will use our word time writing and coloring a second grade memory book.
ELA: We'll spend some time cracking a summer code and writing a bit about our summer plans.
Science: In this unit we will create and describe food chains identifying producers and consumers to demonstrate how animals depend on other living things. We will observe how animal structures and behaviors help them find and take in food, water, and air. We will describe how the physical characteristics of environments support plants and animals within an ecosystem.
Math: This week we will be taking our end of year assessments. Once these are completed we will be ending our year with our financial literacy unit. Students will have the chance to get a job, earn a salary, buy a house and learn the ins and outs of making smart financial choices.
