Guest Reader

Thank you for volunteering to be a Friday Guest Reader in our classroom! 

Your reading time will be approximately 12:15-12:35.  Please arrive a little early to allow yourself time to sign in at the office. Please bring in a couple of picture books to read to the class, enough to read for about 20 minutes.

Please note that all parents wishing to volunteer in the classroom must fill out a Named Based Criminal Background Check each school year.  The application can be filled out online and more directions are provided at the following link. It takes approximately 48 hours to be approved.

Books that you select to read can be favorite books from home or ones you’ve checked out from our library ahead of time. I know you will select books the whole class will enjoy. Please avoid any books having any religious nature. 

If you are unable to read on your designated day, please make arrangements with another parent on the schedule to switch days. Let me know of any changes through email so that I can make note of them on my schedule.   Thank you again for your enthusiasm!
