Applesauce!

This week we read a story titled How to Make Apple Pie and see the World. In this story, the main character has to travel all around the world to get ingredients for apple pie. We also read a non-fiction story full of facts about apples, to celebrate our learning we made applesauce together and enjoyed it at the end of the day! 

Sprinkle Kindness

Today we read a story all about sharing kindness with others. We brainstormed ways we can "sprinkle kindness" all around us and then celebrated kindness at the end of the day with sprinkle donuts! 

We've spent the first few weeks together playing games, learning more about each other, comparing our stuffed animals and having lots of fun!
