Honor your child's birthday by donating a book to the Cactus Ranch Library. Books may be selected and purchased from new titles in the library for $15.00.

A bookplate with the honoree’s name and birthdate will be placed in the front of the book, and he/she will be the first to check out the book. The honoree’s name and photo will also be announced during the morning KCRE Broadcast during their birthday month.

Here’s how it works:

• Click Birthday Book Online Payment to submit $15.00 payment for your child's birthday book by the 15th of the previous month (for example if the child's birthday is Oct. 22, payment will need to be received by Sept. 15th in order to air on KCRE during the month of October). 

• After receiving payment, we will have the student come to the library to select their special book and take their photo.

• The book will be presented during the month of your child’s birthday and they will be the first student to check out their special book.

• We can celebrate your child’s birthday no matter when it was– don’t worry if it has already passed! 

• Please note: All J month birthdays (June, July & January) will be celebrated in January.  August birthdays will be dedicated in September.  May birthdays will be dedicated during April. The  last day for all birthday book payments will be April 15th.
