Birthday Book Club

If you would like to purchase a book for the school library in honor of your child’s birthday, please complete and return this form to the librarian.

1. The month before your child's birthday we will send home a paper or emailed copy of the Birthday Book Club form linked above. To complete an online payment of $20 (plus a small convenience fee): 

• • Go to rrisdpay.com

  • Select Blackland Prairie

  • Add “BPES Birthday Books” to your cart.

  • Indicate your child’s name and ID number (s#) in the pop up window

  • Checkout and make payment via credit card.

2. The online purchase portal will send the librarian an email that your purchase is complete. The librarian will notify the teacher that your child can come to the library to select a brand new book from our Birthday Book collection in the library. 

3.  The library will display a photo of your child and the book in the library for the entire school year.

4.  A special bookplate will be placed inside of the book with your child's name.

5. The birthday child will be the first one to check out the book! Birthday Book Club students will be featured on the announcements if they choose to make a video.
