Round Rock has been my home longer than anywhere else - 18 years! Before that I lived in Illinois, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Michigan, California, and Houston. My husband James and I have been married for 18 years and we really enjoy traveling when we can.
We have 3 sons, a spoiled boxer dog named Piper Pickle, and a cat named Link the Stink who thinks he is in charge of everyone. Our oldest, Peter, is in 10th grade and he plays the clarinet in the marching band. Robert is in 7th grade and is on the middle school football team (guess where I will be on Tuesday evenings!). Lucas is in 4th grade and he is currently between sports because he just can’t make up his mind.
I went to The University of Texas and received my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences in May 2005. When my middle son was diagnosed with Dyslexia I made it my mission to understand him and his struggle. This was the beginning of my journey into education. I have worked in the district for the last 2 years in Special Education and RTI. I believe all children can learn when given the right tools and the right environment.
In my free time I like making crafts and reading. Most nights you will find us sitting on the couch with my husband watching tv and me with a book. I read over 100 books last year!
Now for the question you all want answered….. How do you say Giannoules? Hope this helps: Gee - uh - no - less
