Hello Wildcats! Welcome to Walsh!! You're going to LOVE it here! I will be your science teacher, but I am also here to support you, help you to be your best self, and teach you all about the world of 6th grade science. I'm also here to help you navigate your way through life in 6th grade and...LOCKERS...yikes! If I don't know the answer to any of your questions, I'll find it.
Plan on exploring, discovering, and working collaboratively with your classmates, and also on becoming a community where we celebrate each other. Tell your folks to be on the lookout for lab supply signup sheets (I use Signup Genius).

*****ABOUT ME*****
My name is Tara Pearson (Ms. P) and I am one of the founding teachers of Walsh Middle School. I have two four-legged kids and a husband of 30 years, Scott. I was born and raised in Texas, receiving a BS degree in Environmental Geology and also in Environmental Science from Stephen F. Austin State University where I also minored in Biology. I love walking my dogs, hiking, camping, enjoying nature, cooking and listening to music. I love our planet and I especially love the geology of our planet.
