HELLO FROM YOUR LIBRARIAN, MRS. CUMBEY
Hi there! I'm the Teacher-Librarian at Sadler and I'm so excited to share the love of reading with you!
My goal for the year is to not only get students reading, but to get them to LOVE reading. I want my students to find the joy in reading, and go on many adventures within a book. I love getting lost in a book and want my students to experience the same.
We do all kinds of fun things in the library throughout the year. We'll of course read lots of great books, but we'll also do STEM/STEAM activities, work on research skills, and much, much more!!

If you can't bring the children to the books, bring the books to the children.
The vision of the Sadler Arts Academy Library Program is to support students by providing quality materials, valuable lessons, and an environment where all students are encouraged to curiously and critically think about information.
The mission of the Sadler Arts Academy Library Program is to enable students and staff to become life-long learners and effective users of ideas and information in a rapidly changing world. To accomplish this mission the teacher-librarian and classroom teacher work cooperatively to teach students how to locate, select, evaluate, interpret, organize, and communicate this information relevant to the school's educational curriculum goals.
