This year I am pushing into ALL of the classrooms (K-6) doing enrichment lessons.  The K-3 students are using the PETS curriculum. PETS stands for Primary Education Thinking Skills. Students read stories and complete puzzles/ projects about divergent, convergent, visual and evaluative thinking.

The 4-6 students will continue to build off the skills they learned in the PETS curriculum. Their lessons will focus on creative writing, logic puzzles, and STEAM activities.

In grades K-6 I will be pulling a select group of students from each grade who are identified as gifted and talented. They will meet with me a couple periods a week. Students work on a variety of project based learning (PBL) projects throughout the year. They get a chance to collaborate together as well as work independently. They also have opportunities to attend field trips with other gifted and talented children in NJ such as the learning carnival.
