Everyone is a teacher and a learner. I believe in the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework. I base my lessons and activities off of my students. I encourage my students to express their ideas through various mediums. Every student can learn and has a voice in my classroom. 

I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Montclair State University. My Bachelors is in Family and Child Studies with my K-6 teaching certificate. My Masters is in Inclusive Education with my Teacher of Students with Disabilities teaching certificate. I obtained my Gifted and Talented teaching certificate from Montclair State in August 2018.  

In 2023, I was named the NJ Association for Gifted Children (NJAGC) Teacher of the Year!

Overall I have a passion for teaching, learning, and children. I think that passion and enthusiasm is reflected in my everyday work. When I am not teaching, I love taking dance classes, spending time with my family and friends, and relaxing with my dogs.
