Special assessment conditions (SAC) are available by application for learners who have a range of physical, emotional, sensory, medical, and learning needs. Learners in year 11 to 13 who already have SAC will have that support available to them for the September CAA exams, September derived grade exams and the November NCEA exams.
Learners in year 9 and 10 who may be sitting the CAA exams in September and have physical, emotional, sensory, medical, and learning needs may also be eligible for SAC for these exams. We will go through a process of identifying these students and sending out information regarding SAC for the CAA exams early next term.
If you have any queries about eligibility for SAC please take a look at the NZQA SAC website and contact our Learning Support Coordinator, tanya.prout@rollestoncollege.nz if you have further questions.
