Boston Tea Party
On December 16, 2023, The good ship Noble appeared on the northern side of the New Milford Green. Shortly after a tea party occurred as a mob scene rebelled against the tea tax! Crates of tea were thrown into the town harbor by young and old!
Culper Spy Days 2024 - Sarah Noble Intermediate School
The Culper Spy Days was presented to the entire 5th grade at Sarah Noble over 2 days. The presentation and activities introduced the students to events during the American Revolution and how the spies communicated through different modes. The students then got to spend time encoding and decoding messages.
River Fest 2024 - Spirits of New Milford
Spirits from the Revolutionary Times came to visit during the New Milford River Fest. Spirits of local men and women graced us with their presence and stories. This included Elizabeth Sherman - the first wife of Roger Sherman, Ebenezer Gaylord - a tavern keeper, and many more.

The Liberty Tree was dedicated in honor of our New Milford Patriots who made sacrifices to help fight for independence from England.
The tree is a Wildfire Gum and is planted on the northern end of the town green.
