Quilts will be aired and display at several sites throughout downtown New Milford, including the Congregational Church, Masonic Lodge and the New Milford Historical Society.
Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday 9:00am - 3:00pm
This event is free and open to everyone from young to old.

Quilts and Quiltmakers covering Connecticut
quiltmaker, quilt appraiser, quilt historian and author of eleven books quilt books. Sue will present “Quilts and Quiltmakers Covering Connecticut.” Learn about 200 years of Connecticut quilts, made between 1758 and 1950. Sue will be highlighting the quilts in the collection of the New Milford Historical Society documented by the Connecticut Quilt Search Project.

1PM - Presentation by Veralyn Davee
Quilts- An American Heritage
Using quilts from her own body of work, Veralyn Davee will discuss the evolution of quilting.
You will learn history and see how changes in patterns, fabric, styles and equipment have helped quilting become a true American art form.
Quilting Demonstration by Jo Mellis
Jo will be demonstrating template cutting throughout the weekend at the Congregation Church.
