All staff needs a basic understanding of Canvas. Your campus leadership will likely share relevant campus information here.
Complete the module titled "Getting Started with Canvas" inside of the Rockwall ISD New Teacher Technology Training 2022-23 course in Canvas.

All teachers in grades 3-12 will receive additional training and support with Canvas.
Accessing Canvas
Accessing Canvas
All staff will access Canvas by going to their Google Dashboard and clicking on the Canvas icon. This will sign you directly into Canvas without having to enter a username or password.

Once inside of Canvas, you will need to accept the two courses you have been invited to join. Click "Accept" to join these courses.
The "DO NOT DELETE THIS COURSE" course can be ignored once you have accepted the invite.
The "Rockwall ISD New Teacher Technology Training 2022" course will be where you complete the Canvas training modules.
All Teachers need to complete the "Getting Started with Canvas" module.
Teachers in grades 3-12 need to also complete the " Module 2: Using Canvas with Students (3rd-12th Grade Only)".
Once you have completed the required module(s), return to this page to continue with the next training topic.
