About Volunteering

We are always looking for and happy to have volunteers. It is what makes our community great and sees to it that we are providing the best possible experience for our kids while they are a part of the KDM family. There are a few things we want you to be aware of before you sign up

• You MUST be a PTA member to volunteer your time

  • Click Join the PTA to become a member

• Please do not sign up if you are not certain you can commit to being present for the event. We all want to be helpful and it becomes difficult to do so when the helpers you were expecting to be present do not make it.

• We are aware unexpected things happen in life. If that happens please contact the committee chair to let them know in advance you will not be able to make it.

• We would love to have everyone participate in every event they volunteer for but this is not always feasible. Please understand that we will always fill as many positions as we can but this does not mean we will need the extra help. That is always a great problem to have!

• The committee chair will reach out to you well before the day of the event to let you know you have been selected as a volunteer. We always strive to reach out within one (1) week of a volunteer signing up but it is dependent on the date of the event.
