One-Pager examples

All students entering sixth through eighth grade are required to complete a one-pager for one of the books they read over the summer. Here are some examples of what a one-pager can look like.

Requirements:

  • Includes the author & title of the book.

  • At least one key quote

  • Fiction: A section that focuses on theme or symbolism (using words & images)

  • Nonfiction: A section that focuses on key vocabulary associated with your topic (using words & images)

  • Fiction: A section that focuses on key characters and how they interact, change, and develop (using words & images)

  • Nonfiction: A section that focuses on one subtopic in the text that you found interesting (using words & images)

  • You may also add other images, words, and elements that you feel represent what was important to you within the text.
