Someone pours melted oils and beeswax into a tin, two others choose photos for their website, and a fourth brings up a spreadsheet to begin a budget discussion. I hear an announcement to add today’s products to the inventory list while another calls everyone into the kitchen where today’s lemongrass scent wafts into the air. And, I am reminded of Maria Montessori’s belief that 'the greatest gift we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.'
