For the past 11 years, RNRR has co-hosted a three-day (two nights) overnight summer camp with our sister team, 5218 Javabots, where Girl Scouts experience a mini FTC season. Each year we host 15 new girls. No robotics experience is required! Our only requirement is that you're a Girl Scout in grades 6-12!

Each year we host 15 new girls. No robotics experience is required! Our only requirement is that you're a Girl Scout in grades 6-12!
During compressed simulation of an FTC season, girls get to learn about brainstorming, design, build, blocks coding, and teamwork, all while being guided by fellow girls! After long days of work, we have a s'mores and a movie night to wrap up before bed. At the end of the fun-packed weekend, the robots are put to the test, competing on a field for parents.
