Course Description:

Students will have a spelling packet each week with 20 words they will be placing in alphabetical order. They will learn to spell these words and learn their meaning as they practice using each week's words in short writing assignments. Weekly spelling tests will be in effect this year.

Grading Policy:

Students will receive 3 separate grades; Reading, Spelling and Language Arts

Spelling:

Homework (packet) - 80% of grade

Quizzes/Tests - 20% of grade
