6th grade band meets every other day. Classes are divided between three sections that will combine into one band for concert performances. The class builds upon the concepts of 5th grade band, including: warm-ups, scales, chords, technical exercises, syncopation, enharmonics, and ensemble concert pieces. This class utilizes Standards of Excellence Book #1.
