Course Description:
This course is the equivalent of a college level introductory course in micro and macroeconomics. The purpose of CIS economics is to give students a thorough understanding of the principles of economics that apply to the economic system as a whole (macroeconomics) and the individual decision makers, both producers and consumers, within the larger economic system (microeconomics). A research report will be required of students.
Students who qualify and successfully complete this course will earn three college credits through St Cloud State University.
