Mr. Houghton

Mr. Houghton teaches Social Studies at RHS. He is also is Head football coach.

Professional Profile

I started teaching in 2000 and have taught for 26 years. I started at Rockford in 2004 and have been here for the last 22 years. I am currently a Social Studies teacher at the High School. I grew up in Olivia MN, graduated from BOLD High School. I graduated with an A.A. from Anoka Ramsey Community College. I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. in Social Studies with an emphasis in History and a teacher's license. I graduated from St. Mary's University with a M.A. in Education. I have taught previously at Dassel-Cokato High School and Montgomery Lonsdale High School.
