DISTRICTS 2026

The District X FFA Veterinary Science CDE will be conducted on the Nebraska Veterinary Science Rules. 

The contest will be:

•  25 Question General Knowledge Test (Individual) 

• 20 Equipment Identification (Individual) 

• 10 Parasite Identification (Individual) 

• 20 Breeds Identification (Individual) 

- Individual Practicum over 1 of the following Handling and Restraining practicums: 

• Applying a Muzzle on a Cat

• restraint of a rabbit

• Applying a Nylon Dog Muzzle

• Placing a Tail Tie

*8 Students per school are allowed to enter*. *Teams will consist of the top 4 members  *Incomplete teams can participate as well* Practicums will follow the guidelines and rubrics found in the Vet Science Handbook. Identification will also follow those guidelines. General knowledge tests questions will be pulled from the National Tests found on FFA.org.
