Family engagement is an important part of the YAS program. Reading improves imagination and communication. Reading to someone else, especially a younger sibling or family member, improves relationships. Below are links to sites that offer downloadable books and articles for kids and parents. Help your family set a goal of participating in two family engagement activities. Read two articles or books and complete the Family Corner form in the YAS Google classroom under classwork. Once a family has submitted two forms, a prize will be awarded for completing the family engagement goal.
