Hello!  My name is Andrea Cox and I'm the Instructional Coach and AIG teacher at Monroeton Elementary.  I graduated from Appalachian (Go Mountaineers!) in 2004 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education. I've taught 4th grade, 1st grade, 5th grade, and have been a Reading Specialist, before moving to Monroeton to become the AIG teacher and Instructional Coach.

I live in Reidsville and have a husband, 2 children, and a sweet dog named Hank.  I enjoy reading a good book and taking hikes with my family.  I also love being a teacher and feel passionate about making a difference in the lives of kids.
